We are delighted to be representing a Housing Association, based in London, who are looking to appoint a new Housing Officer on a temporary basis.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (2 days home working) and a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.

The client is looking for an experienced candidate who is confident, dedicated and hard working. A driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Dealing with low level ASB such as noise complaints and neighbour disputes

• Managing the introductory tenancy process

• Performing regular estate inspections

• Reporting repairs

• Engage with residents to drive community engagement

• Meet with resident to address any concerns

• Maximize income through effective collection of rent arrears

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good organizational and time management skills

• A thourough knowledge of tenancy management

• Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent computer literacy

• Experience working within social housing is necessary

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
