​We’re currently working with one of the largest Housing providers in the South West to recruit a number of Housing Officers on initial 3-month temporary contracts, covering patches in Plymouth and Cornwall.

Candidates will need recent experience of tenancy management, ASB and rents, and be able to oversee a patch of properties within a short timeframe.

Access to your own vehicle would be essential, and pay rates are likely to be between £25 - 27 per hour.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries, managing permissions, and overseeing tenancy-related matters

• Coordinate tenancy sign-ups and property viewings, ensuring all activities comply with tenancy agreements

• Handle tenancy breaches effectively, including taking appropriate action to safeguard residents

• Maintain high estate standards and monitor service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and a quality living environment

• Drive resident engagement initiatives and support community development within your area, contributing to business goals and promoting sustainable tenancies and neighbourhoods

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
