Job description

Our client, based in Norfolk, is currently recruiting for a Housing Management Officer on a temporary to permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. The annual salary is £25,110.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS dates within 3 years, and access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out a full housing management service to residents in Norfolk and Suffolk across the Housing Related Supported accommodation services, Shared Housing services, Social Housing and Private Sector housing
  • Leading on property inspections to reinforce lettable standards
  • Providing an efficient and effective service to maximise the rental income and increase tenancy sustainment
  • Working collaboratively with the Support Teams and the Property Services Manager to provide an efficient and effective lettings service
  • Working alongside partner agencies to fulfil duties as an acting landlord
  • Contributing to any management system to enabling the monitoring of available lets, rent collection, tenancy sustainment, stock condition and access/key management
  • Ensuring any enforcement action follows relevant legal process, including representing the organisation in court
  • Providing timely and accurate data on housing management status and actions required
  • Contributing to the development or review of policies and written procedures in connection with housing management
  • Meeting all relevant prescribed targets and providing performance management information efficiently and effectively

Experience required:

  • Worked within Supported Housing or Social Housing
  • Tenancy Management Advice

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
