We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Gloucestershire, who are recruiting for a Homeless Services Manager on a temporary six-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go permanent. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £28.00 - £30.00 p/h via an umbrella company or on a 6 month FTC contract with a salary of £42,178.00 per annum

The ideal candidate will be a professional Manage for the Homeless Service and be able to provide effective leadership, by role modelling organisations leadership behaviours, resulting in a motivated, committed and high performing team.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing a supportive and inclusive working environment where staff are empowered to deliver highly valued and consistent services, working with customers and key stakeholders to identify and review service needs

  • Holding accountability for KPIs focused on delivering effective homeless services, including Voids, & Lettings, ASB, Income Collection, Health and Safety actions and satisfaction

  • Maintaining and building on key partnership arrangements with the Local Authority to ensure great service

  • Proven understanding and experience of delivering statutory / non-statutory homeless services

  • Working with the complex and chaotic lifestyles cohort to deliver successful outcomes

  • Delivering core homeless services together with continuous service improvements

  • Using insight reports and/or interrogating systems to understand data and insight

  • Developing corresponding service improvement plans

  • Regularly reviewing target resources to ensure that they are used in the most effective way to meet the changing demands of the service

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
