Job description

​Our client based in East Lancashire is currently recruiting for a Home Ownership Officer on a full-time temporary basis (Maternity Cover). The position is a nine month Fixed Term Contract, working fully remote, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide high quality, customer focused home ownership service.

Within this role you will be responsible for the administration of the Home Ownership service including leaseholders, PRTB, RTA and asset management enquiries.

They are offering a competitive salary of £25,046 - £29,137

KEY AREAS OF WORK

  • Collecting service charges and other debts by working to a robust income management collection policies and procedures

  • Ensuring that customer consultation is carried out in accordance with legislative requirements and to arrange forums/meetings with Leaseholders

  • Responsibility for after sales service, dealing with breach of leasehold/ tenancy conditions are other matters relating to homeowners

  • Maintaining IT systems effectively to enable efficient service delivery

  • Assisting with the design and publication of homeownership newsletters and information guides

  • Producing performance management information

  • Monitoring customer equality data and satisfaction surveys

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of commercial tenancies and legislation

  • Experience of work within a Social Housing organisation

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial assistance available to leaseholders

  • Problem solving and advisory skills

  • Experience of working in a frontline service with the public

  • Ability to work flexibly, manage own workload and comply with company and legislative targets and deadlines

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

WORKING HOURS

  • 36.25 Hours per week

  • Fully Remote

  • Monday - Friday
