​Our client, one of the largest social housing and care providers in the country, is recruiting for a permanent Governance Officer, to be based in one of their offices in the Midlands or South West.

The position is due to start immediately and offers a salary up to £29,800.

The ideal candidate will have Governance specific experience within a regulated environment.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Supporting with Governance related policies and procedures, ensuring timely delivery of agendas, papers and succinct minutes

• Liaising with key suppliers to ensure organisational procedures are managed effectively, including processing and managing invoices in line with agreed budgets

• Building strong relationships with Board/Panel members, members of staff and stakeholders to efficiently respond to any concerns

• Supporting the Governance Team to ensure sites are updated with relevant governance information, including the Code of Governance, the Code of Conduct, the Governance Framework and governance and compliance policies

• Minute Taking

• Attending Meetings
