Job description
We are delighted to be representing a leading Social Housing provider, who are looking to appoint a Governance Officer on a fixed term contract basis for six months initially.
This will be a full-time position, offering fully remote working, and a salary in the region of £32,000 per annum.
The client is looking to recruit a dynamic individual, with skills in corporate governance and an innovative approach.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Acting as the first point of contact for customers and the business, in regards to Governance queries and activities
Handling arrangements for Boards meetings, committees and panels, including attending meetings to record/take minutes
Responsible for fulfilling statutory requirements under Data Protection legislationReviewing documentation which supported the Governance, Risk & Assurance framework and its communication to the business
Completing regulatory returns and maintaining governance records and registers
Researching and drafting written proposals on governance processes, policy reviews and other matters
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday
