Job description

We're excited to be working with a Social Housing provider based in Newport, who are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/Governance Coordinator on a temporary contract basis for two months initially.

The position is offering full-time hours and is due to start immediately, with hybrid-working options available.

The ideal candidate will experience of servicing meetings at an executive level, and knowledge of governance and compliance processes is desirable.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

•    Providing a comprehensive support service to the Board, its committees, workshops and task and finish groups

•    Booking and coordinating meeting rooms, refreshments and layout of board room for in person meetings

•    Producing and distributing Board packs as required, and redacting packs for other attendees

•    Supporting in the taking and transcribing of accurate and concise minutes

•    Updating the Board and Committees’ resolution register and action grid

•    Responsibility for governance team meetings, setting agenda, notes and actions and hastening actions to completion for next meeting

•    Coordinating and monitoring the compliance matrix, highlighting any returns due/overdue

Rewards & benefits:

Working hours:

•    37 hours per week

•    Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
