Job description
Our client, based in Dorset, is currently recruiting for a Fire Risk Assessor on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the largest Housing Associations in the South West, and are looking to add to their growing compliance department. The role is based from home, and site visits will need to be completed around Hampshire and Dorset around three days a week. Mileage can be claimed from home at 45ppm.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £38,400 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience within Social Housing, as well as a Fire specific qualification.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Completing Fire Risk Assessments on Social Housing properties, including new build, traditional build and blocks of flats
Creating FRA reports, and pass on recommendations to surveyors
Monitoring actions following FRAs and ensuring work has been completed to specification
Investigating fires within domestic properties, and work alongside surveying teams for remedial work
Experience required:
Social Housing experience
Fire Risk Assessment experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Strong communication skills
Full UK Drivers’ License
