Our client, based in Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager (Management Accountant) on a temporary contract for three months.
They are reputable Housing Association who are proud to have over 1,000 affordable homes occupied by those who would not necessarily be able to afford their own home.
The position is due to start on the w/c 20th January on a full time basis at 37 hours a week, however can offer flexible working.
Candidates must have relevant experience using Open Accounts financial system and have experience working within the Social Housing Sector.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Producing budget commentary and analysis on numerical data
Supporting the wider finance team as they go through a data amalgamation process
Supporting the Finance Director by performing ad-hoc financial projects such as; advising on amalgamation process
Assisting with annual budget preparation and forecasting
Overseeing cash flow forecasting and analysis of requirements and possible actions, creating reports for internal stakeholders
Experience working with the Social Housing sector – Essential
Experience using Open Accounts Financial System – Essential
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Intermediate Excel skills (LOOKUPS, pivot tables) – Essential
