Our client, based in Brighton, is currently recruiting for a Fabric Clerk of Works on a either a temporary or permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary bracket is set between £45-60,000 dependent on experience, with an equivalent offered if seeking temporary option.
The ideal candidate must have hospital project experience as a minimum.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Working on and running a major hospital redevelopment project with a budget of over £250 million
Carry out snagging, quality inspections and sign off completed works to the redeveloped hospital buildings
Oversee contractors and ensure all work is completed to specification and provides value for money
Experience in and competency working on fee contracts for prominent clients
Take photos and produce written reports for senior management
Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
Liaise with contractors and tenants throughout the duration of works
Become familiar with relevant drawings and referring to them when checking works
Major new build healthcare projects with a minimum value of £100million
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
NEC Supervisor qualification desirable
40 hours per week
