Job description
We are partnering with a major, market‑leading retail group to recruit an ER Advisor to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
Operating across multiple brands and channels, the organisation continues to grow rapidly through ongoing investment, acquisition and large‑scale transformation.
This is a full‑time role offering a salary of up to £34,000, depending on experience. The start date will align with your notice period.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting the HR Business Partner team by providing support on a range of employee relations issues
Providing guidance and advice to employees in regard to company policies and procedures and employment legislation
Supporting, coaching and upskilling Managers to fulfil their people management responsibilities with regard to employee relations casework
Providing operational support and advice on employee relations matters; such as disciplinary, grievance, appeals
Supporting with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE when necessary
Proactively dealing with absence management; assisting with the identification and resolution of problematic cases and long-term sickness issues, monitoring KPIs and trends to propose preventive measures
Supporting departments/teams through organisational change and embedding new structures and processes where required
Experience required:
Proven HR and business partnering experience within fast‑paced, multi‑site and complex organisations
Strong track record of partnering with a range of Head Office functions to deliver people solutions
Experience operating within high‑performing, customer‑centric environments, ideally within retail or service‑led sectors
Broad expertise across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, retention, organisational design and engagement
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated capability in shaping, leading and delivering people initiatives and change projects
Confident in interpreting data and insights to inform decisions and drive positive organisational outcomes
Resilient, assertive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and navigate setbacks constructively

40 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm
