Job description
We are delighted to be representing a multi-disciplinary architectural and building consultancy practice, based in and around London, who are looking to appoint a new Employers Agent on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (1 day home working), a salary of up to £80,000 dependent on experience and generous annual leave, plus bank holidays.
The client is looking for a candidate with experience in new build residential projects valuing in the multi-millions and hold a recognised construction degree. MRICS is desirable but not essential.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Acting on behalf of the employer in all aspects of new build, residential contracts, issuing payment notices, consents, instructions, requests and statements
Co-ordinating the design team and pulling together tender packs on multi-million projects
Reviewing and analysing tender submissions, holding tender interviews and providing recommendations for the preferred contractor
Monitoring the progress of the construction works and issuing the clients with regular updates and progress reports
Reviewing the final account and agreeing/certifying results
Implementing the requirements for snagging and rectifying any defects
Experience required:
New build residential project experience
Project values of multi-millions
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Reviewing tender submissions
Excellent writing skills
Understanding of snagging and rectifying defects

Working hours:
37.5 - 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
9am-5pm
