Job description

We are delighted to be representing a multi-disciplinary architectural and building consultancy practice, based in and around London, who are looking to appoint a new Employers Agent on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (1 day home working), a salary of up to £80,000 dependent on experience and generous annual leave, plus bank holidays.

The client is looking for a candidate with experience in new build residential projects valuing in the multi-millions and hold a recognised construction degree. MRICS is desirable but not essential.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Acting on behalf of the employer in all aspects of new build, residential contracts, issuing payment notices, consents, instructions, requests and statements

  • Co-ordinating the design team and pulling together tender packs on multi-million projects

  • Reviewing and analysing tender submissions, holding tender interviews and providing recommendations for the preferred contractor

  • Monitoring the progress of the construction works and issuing the clients with regular updates and progress reports

  • Reviewing the final account and agreeing/certifying results

  • Implementing the requirements for snagging and rectifying any defects

Experience required:

  • New build residential project experience

  • Project values of multi-millions

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Reviewing tender submissions

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Understanding of snagging and rectifying defects

Working hours:

  • 37.5 - 40 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday

  • 9am-5pm
