We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Dorset, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a temporary six-week contract with the potential to be extended. The position is due to start week commencing 23rd October. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £24 via an Umbrella company on a CIS Basis.

The Housing Association provide over 9,000 properties to circa 25,000 people and the role will consist of providing a professional Electrical Maintenance service to the tenants.

The ideal candidate will have access to their own van and have both 18th Edition and their 2391 testing and inspections qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing rewires on domestic properties

• Installing electrical components within kitchens and bathrooms including lighting, fire alarms, plug sockets and switches

• Carry out testing and inspecting within domestic properties

Experience required:

• Experience working on domestic properties

• Social Housing experience is desired

Working hours:

• 39 hours per week

• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00

• Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
