Our client, based in South Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for an Electrician on a temporary 12-week contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate must have experience working on domestic Social Housing properties and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out responsive repairs and fixing electrical testing on domestic Social Housing properties

• Undertaking all aspects of electrical works associated with the repairs, installations and maintenance of properties

• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard

• Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage and ensuring the closing of completed jobs

• Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies

Experience required:

• 2391

• 18th Edition

• Minimum two years’ experience within Social Housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations

• Ability to work autonomously

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week

• Monday - Friday
