Our client, based in Norfolk, is currently recruiting for an Electrician on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as possible. The annual salary is circa £34,000 rising to circa £36,000 with quarterly pay reviews.

The ideal candidate will have strong domestic and social housing experience, with 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out responsive repairs and fixed electrical testing on domestic Social Housing properties

• Conducting EICR domestic inspections

• Working on planned installations for kitchens & new bathrooms etc.

• Undertaking all aspects of electrical works associated with the repairs, installations and maintenance of properties

• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard

• Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage, ensuring the closing of completed jobs

• Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies

Experience & Skills required:

• Experience of working within domestic properties

• Experience of working within social housing

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2357 (including AM2)

• City & Guilds 2382-10 or 2382-20 (18th Edition)

• City & Guilds 2391
