Deputy Director of Finance (Business Partnering)

Our client, is currently recruiting for a Deputy Director of Finance (Business Partnering) on a temporary contract for four weeks. Our client is proud to recognised by the Sunday Times Good University Guide for three years running.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis and the day rate is negotiable based on experience.

This role is 100% home working and previous experience with Agresso is beneficial.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Work closely with Director of Finance and Corporate Resources to provide senior leadership to the Finance team
• Manage a team of five FTE employees including Finance Business Partners and Assistant Management Accountants
• Lead and manage the business partnering service, ensuring financial information is provided across the organisation as required
• Work with the budget holders to ensure they understand their responsibilities and have the appropriate tools to manage their budgets
• Report to the University Executive Boards, advising on any related financial queries as and when required

Experience required:

• Fully qualified Accountant
• Managerial experience within Higher Education

Working hours:

• 36.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday (flexi-time available)
