Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a South Wales based Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Decarbonisation Surveyor on a contract basis until the end of March 2027.

This will be a full-time position based in South Wales, which will be largely site based, with occasional working from home.

The ideal candidate will have exprience in Planned / Capital Works within a Social Housing environment, as well as access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing planned decarbonisation works on behalf of a housing association, including the installs of solar panels

  • Working with budgets up to £3m per annum

  • Managing the work of contractors on site, ensuring they're adhering to pre-agreed SLAs

  • Overseeing Health and Safety on site

  • Carrying out post inspections and compiling snagging reports

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing

  • Experience within a planned works environment

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Strong tenant liaison skills

  • Strong contractor management and communication skills

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
