Customer Service Officer

Our client, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer on a temporary to permanent basis! Our client is a large Housing Association, and is keen to find someone to provide a friendly first point of contact for their tenants – with multiple days working from home per week!

The position is due to start immediately, and is perfect for someone with experience in Customer Service and Housing!

The ideal candidate will have experience in either Housing or Customer Service, and also have strong administration skills.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Handling inbound customer calls regarding ASB, Rents and Repairs
  • Speaking with contractors regarding repairs and work diaries
  • Referring high-level queries to the relevant specialist teams
  • Providing friendly first point of contact for tenants with queries
  • Keeping accurate administrative records of calls from tenants

 

Experience required:

  • Handling inbound customer calls
  • Working in a housing management environment
  • Logging and updating in-house systems with call information

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Personable and professional approach to over the phone customer service
  • Calmness under pressure whilst dealing with challenging customers
  • Diligent administrative skills and a keen eye for details

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday with rotating shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm
