Job description

Our client, based in East Sussex, is currently recruiting for a Contract Manager on a permanent contract. Our client is an award winning University.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary for the role is £35,333 - £42,155 per annum dependent on experience.

The role will be hybrid working.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two yearsexperience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Manage, promote and maintain high quality, Professional Services, engendering a culture of continuous improvement

·         Manage the operational outputs of the team

·         Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and University policies, interpreting the same and advising on their practical application

·         Work in partnership with other key stakeholders to ensure seamless service

·         Ensure the success of the University and Balfour Beatty partnership that forms the RDP

·         Report performance and relevant management information to the governance boards for developments

·         Advise the Head of Service Delivery on matters of significance relating to the daily operation of the student accommodations and associated buildings within the RDP demise

Experience required:

·         Relevant level of experience within the FM sector

·         Practical knowledge and understanding of facilities contracts management

·         Experience dealing with SLAs & KPIs

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Ability to operate across all FM disciplines

·         Ability to work effectively with minimal direction and deliver pragmatic solutions to issues

·         Effective liaison at all operational and management levels and able to chair board groups

Working hours:

·         37.5 hours per week

·         Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexibility around this)
