Compliance & Reactive Works Surveyor

Our client, an established public-sector leader based in Devon, is currently recruiting for a Compliance & Reactive Works Surveyor on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, and the salary is negotiable, dependant on experience.

The successful candidate must have proven experience within both reactive maintenance and landlord Health & Safety compliance, and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Arranging, overseeing and recording of landlord Health & Safety compliance across the non-housing portfolio
• Coordinating and managing reporting around landlord Health & Safety compliance
• Dealing with reactive maintenance works to the non-housing portfolio through a small Team of Maintenance Technicians and external contractors
• Ensuring that work is programmed to meet targets and requirements as necessary, effectively, efficiently and within budget
• Updating the property records held by the Team, using existing and newly developed property databases
• Managing the financial monitoring and performance of budgets and resources effectively and in accordance with Financial Regulations

Knowledge and expertise required:

• Reactive maintenance
• Landlord Health & Safety compliance

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
