We are proud to be partnering with a not-for profit organisation to support their search for a temporary Compliance Officer, for 2-3 months.

As a Compliance Officer, you will review property compliance with a focus on asbestos, legionella and fire.

You will need to have experience and knowledge of housing related compliance to be successful with your application.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Reviewing property compliance with a focus on asbestos, legionella and fire

  • Maintaining the SDM system; logging three or four certificates per property and identifying the certificates that have failed, providing a reason for it failing and identifying the urgency of each failed certificate

  • Completing the administration for the compliance team which includes, fire, gas, electric, asbestos, legionella and any other area required

  • Validating compliance data

  • Ensuring compliance data within the data base is updated and current including testing and remedial works

  • Working with existing compliance information

  • Gathering all data into one place and flagging any gaps in compliance data

Experience required:

  • Minimum two years’ experience within the sector

  • Experience working within social housing

  • Experience working with compliance (legionella, asbestos, fire etc)

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Compliance and due diligence

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Organisational skills

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
