Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a multi-disciplinary specialist construction consultancy, who are looking to appoint a Clerk of Works on a permanent contract.
This will be a full-time position based in London, with a salary of £48,000 - £52,000.
The ideal candidate will be a member of ICWCI and have experience with residential new build & recladding projects.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring that the quality of both materials and workmanship are in accordance with the design information such as specification, drawings and quality standards
Confirming that the inspections are performed in a manner that confirms the reported results
Studying the contract drawings and schedules, and information produced by consultants and specialists
Establishing lines of communication with the project Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, the contractor’s site supervisory or project manager
Studying the Health and Safety Plan for the project, British Standards and Approved Codes of Conduct
Using a tablet to record reports, while on daily site visits
Experience required:
ICWCI membership – desirable
Residential projects (Preferably on Local Authority / Housing Association projects)
