Our client, a reputable local authority based in London, is currently recruiting for a Senior Childcare Lawyer and a Childcare Lawyer on temporary contracts for three to six months.
The positions are both due to start immediately on a full time basis, they will both be working remotely and the client will arrange for equipment to be delivered to you. The hourly rates are negotiable based on experience for these position.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of local authorities but they must be well versed in childcare law.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Childcare Lawyer Duties
Dealing with 10 – 12 care cases
PLO cases on the side
Attending meeting with the clients (virtually)
Senior Childcare Lawyer Duties
Holding some high risk cases
Managing lawyers
Attending senior client meetings
Acting as a legal adviser at senior meetings
Attending PLO meetings
Experience required:
Ideally from a local authority background (flexible)
Minimum two years’ experience within childcare law
Working hours
35 – 40 hours per week (candidate will need to be flexible)
