We are currently working in partnership with charity based in Northwest London, who are recruiting for a Case Worker on a temporary 2-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential for contract extension. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with victims of domestic abuse and will have an Enhanced DBS taken out within the last 2 years.

They will also ideally speak one of the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Pashto, Hindi, Urdu, Sylheti.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of 15-20 cases

• Carrying out welfare calls and establishing any changes to circumstances

• Identifying and implementing interventions

• Completing risk assessments and safety plans for new cases

• Liaising with other service providers

Experience required:

• Experience working with vulnerable women

• Experience in supported housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Advocacy and communication

• Specialist domestic abuse knowledge
