Asset Administrator

Our client, based in Essex, is currently recruiting for an Asset Administrator on a temporary contract for three months, with a potential permanent role. Our client values their communities and aims to create safe, affordable homes and neighbourhood’s that people are proud to live in. So far they manage over 13,000 homes across the South-East of England with the ambition to add rapidly to their portfolio over the coming years.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a social housing environment.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Maintaining and updating the asset management system (Keystone/ASAO/Cadcorp) which includes the stock condition progress
  • Efficiently dealing with customer enquires and members of the public
  • Assisting in undertaking duties such as land sales enquiries, landlords consent process and other asset related work
  • Ensuring a responsive and customer-focused service to deal with Land registry and ownership enquiries, land sales enquiries, Land licensing and landlords consent process
  • Providing the other members of the Asset Management team with Administrative Support where necessary
  • Undertaking duties such as land sales enquiries, landlords consent process and other asset related work
  • To assist the surveying team in ensuring the annual survey programme is carried out, relevant data recorded within the Asset Management System

 

Experience and Knowledge required:

  • Thorough understanding in dealing with and keeping up to date with Asset Management Systems (Keystone/ASAO/Cadcorp)
  • Knowledge of Decent Homes Standard, Energy Performance Certificates Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2012) and other related legislation
  • Experience with GIS applications
  • A responsive constructive and flexible attitude towards working arrangements within a team environment

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
