Job description

We are proud to be partnering with an esteemed Housing Association, based in Northamptonshire. They are looking for an ASB Officer to join their passionate and pro-active team on a temporary basis for 4-months.

This will be a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The role offers flexible working hours and hybrid working based on business demand – with the expectation of 2 days working on patch.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS dated within 3 years, access to a vehicle and experience monitoring and managing cases of Anti-Social Behaviour.

The hourly rate for this position will be £26.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling cases of high-level ASB across a patch of properties in Northamptonshire

  • Drafting witness statements and notices whilst ensuring witness care and well-being

  • Responsible for managing a high level of cases of ASB, ensuring excellent case management procedures at all times

  • Preparing all paperwork required for cases prior to court attendance and subsequently attending court on behalf of the organisation

  • Utilising all available tools, and being aware of the anti-social behaviour powers

  • Serving notices and attend evictions to assist landlords with enforcement

  • Working closely with Police and Council to help resolve issues and offer additional support to residents

Experience required:

  • Overcoming complex situations and ensuring tenant welfare

  • Managing cases of ASB from start to finish

  • Preparation of court evidence and court attendance

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Risk assessment and management

  • Using initiative and ability to handle high-stress situations

  • Knowledge of relevant legislations and laws

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (can work flexibly between 8:30am-5:00pm)
