Job description

We are delighted to be representing an esteemed Housing Association, based in Northamptonshire, who pride themselves in their effective services; impactful partnerships; great culture and efficient business. They are looking to appoint a new ASB Officer on a temporary three-month contract.

This will be a full-time position, offering hybrid working (2 days per week expected to work on site). It is 37.00 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours between 8:30am-5:00pm. The hourly rate for this role will be up to £25.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company, depending on experience.

The client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of high level ASB cases, and have access to their own vehicle. Ideally, they will have an Enhanced DBS within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • To effectively manage cases of anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and hate crime across managed housing stock using a broad range of interventions

  • To gather evidence from customers, residents and partner agencies, taking witness statements and preparing written cases for court

  • Working alongside individuals with complex needs and ensuring their wellbeing

  • Maintaining expert knowledge in legal processes, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding

  • Liaising with wider services such as the Police and the Council to resolve any issues

  • Effectively representing the organisation by attending court in high-level cases and present cases for enforcement

Experience required:

  • Experience managing ASB cases and working alongside individuals with complex needs

  • Creating cases and attending court

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Can effectively deal with conflict and potentially aggressive/volatile situations involving customers

  • Excellent time management

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Advanced communication skills
