Job description

We are currently working with a council who are looking for a ASB Officer on a three-month temporary basis to be based out of their Nottinghamshire site.

The role is a full-time site-based position, and is due to start as soon as possible.

Our client is looking for candidates with experience dealing with a caseload of ASB cases, hold a full UK Driving License, with access to a car and an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 3 years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for a caseload of 25-30 ASB cases

  • Investigated all aspects of anti-social behaviour, from initial complaints through to completion

  • Collate evidence from cases and ensure that it was prepared for court within an appropriate time frame

  • Effectively liaise with various organisations including Police, Social Services and support bodies

  • Deal with enforcement action where necessary

  • Respond to tenant complaints, compile witness statements and interview alleged perpetrators

  • Spoke to victims and perpetrators and took witness statements

  • Introduce effective tools to tackle ASB in conjunction with the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Police Act 2014

  • Reduce the risk of harm to customer’s health and safety through early identification of vulnerabilities

  • Offer appropriate advice, assistance and signpost to other agencies to safeguard customer’s wellbeing

Experience required:

  • Dealing with a caseload of ASB cases

  • Holds a full UK driving license

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Be able to attend court cases on behalf of the organisation

  • Serve enforcement notices to tenants

  • Be able to deal with a high level ASB cases at once

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
