Area Estates Officer

Our client, based in Oxfordshire, is currently recruiting for an Area Estates Officer on a permanent basis. This position is working 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

The position is due to start March 2021 on a full time basis. The salary ranges between £24,602 – £27,335, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of housing management, estates maintenance, leasehold properties and tenancy sustainment, and have a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Responsible for providing a housing management service to customers with vulnerable needs including mental health, and also young people aged 16-25
• Completing a range of generic tenancy management duties
• Providing support to tenants with a variety of complex needs, focusing primarily on mental health
• Completing the sign up process with new tenants and ensuring that tenancy contracts are understood and adhered to
• Responsible for the management of medium – high level ASB across the properties, completing witness statements and escalating cases as required
• Conducting regular tenancy and estate inspections
• Signposting service users to additional support organisations as appropriate
• Carrying our support plans and risk assessments
• Ensuring estates and communal areas are maintained at all times
• Managing a range of tenancy tenures, including Leasehold properties
