Job description

Our client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a fully remote Adult Social Care Lawyer on a temporary contract for a minimum of four months.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading the organisation's response to legal challenges and managed litigation, managing the legal work, supervision and development of the team

  • Providing legal advice/written opinion on all matters that related to Community Care legislation for adults, Litigation, Mental Capacity and DOLs, Judicial Review and Mental Health

  • Representing in the County Courts, Coroners Court and the Court of Protection

  • Attending Safeguarding meetings and conferences

  • Delivering training to the client by way of written material and presentations

  • Assisting the Head of Service in developing strategic policies and guidelines for the client

Working hours:

•    37 hours per week

•    Monday - Friday
