Job description

Our client, based in West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant on a temporary contract for three months, working within the Property Services division. Our client is proud to have more than 600 employees and a growing portfolio of properties and services as well as managing and looking after 21,000 homes.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist in the administration and support services for the day-to-day running of the Property Services department

  • Work effectively with the team planners to support the service and arrange work appointments

  • Cover administrative duties for the service, including filing, note taking within meetings, maintenance attendance records

  • Update spreadsheets and Excel trackers accurately

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including via telephone and email enquiries

  • Ensure works are completed to a high standard and within timescales

Experience required:

  • Experience within a similar role with a repairs/maintenance setting

  • Hold a full UK Driving License

  • NVQ/BTEC qualifications

  • Numerate and literate to GCSE ‘C’ standard or equivalent

  • Willingness to attend and successfully compete appropriate training courses

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
