Job description
Our client, based in West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant on a temporary contract for three months, working within the Property Services division. Our client is proud to have more than 600 employees and a growing portfolio of properties and services as well as managing and looking after 21,000 homes.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Assist in the administration and support services for the day-to-day running of the Property Services department
Work effectively with the team planners to support the service and arrange work appointments
Cover administrative duties for the service, including filing, note taking within meetings, maintenance attendance records
Update spreadsheets and Excel trackers accurately
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including via telephone and email enquiries
Ensure works are completed to a high standard and within timescales
Experience required:
Experience within a similar role with a repairs/maintenance setting
Hold a full UK Driving License
NVQ/BTEC qualifications
Numerate and literate to GCSE ‘C’ standard or equivalent
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Able to manage a workload with competing priorities
Willingness to attend and successfully compete appropriate training courses

Establishing strong relationships with Stakeholders and colleagues
Decision making and working to targets and deadlines
Health and Safety awareness
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
