Job description

We are currently working with a leading housing association that boasts over 10,000 homes situated in 15 local authorities. The vacancy is for a Senior Complaints Officer on a permanent-basis located in Berkshire.

The role is a HYBRID position with no more than 2 days in the office, and is due to start as soon as possible. The salary is £32,682.30 per annum.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and detail focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support organisational complidance against the expectations of the Regulator of Social Housing and the Housing Ombudsman Service

  • Provide practical support to your colleagues across the business

  • Logging and assigning of written complaints

  • Assist with the collection of information for stage 1 complaints to ensure quick resolutions

  • Follow up calls after the closure of complaints to ensure any promised actions have been completed in the required timescale

Experience/skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience resolving complaints or negative consumer feedback

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Experience working within housing is desirable, but not essential

  • Ability to work unsupervised, plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and agreed targets
