Our client, based in Cambridgeshire, is currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a three-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis with an hourly rate that is negotiable up to £18.00 via an Umbrella company. The role is easily accessible via train and other forms of public transport for anyone who does not have access to their own vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a scheme of properties, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and be enthusiastic and energic when working with the elderly.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a Scheme of 40 units ensuring a smooth running of the building

• Conducting health and safety checks and reporting any repairs to the maintenance team

• Providing support to tenants ensuring their wellbeing and safety

• Attending and running scheme meetings when required

• Ensuring all administration is kept up to date in a timely manner

• Writing, reviewing and completing risk assessments and reports

Experience required:

• Experience working in sheltered accommodation

• Conducting health and safety checks

• Running scheme meetings

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Writing risk assessments and reports

• Strong knowledge of how to ensure the wellbeing of tenants

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm
