We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Cardiff Area, who are recruiting for a Repairs and Voids Manager. The client is currently recruiting for the role on both a temporary and permanent basis.

The annual salary for the role is £47,000 and the day rate for an interim option is flexible dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will experience overseeing an in-house trades team, delivering an exceptional repairs service and previous dealings with budgets/contractor invoices.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Oversee and manage voids and repairs works within domestic Social Housing properties

• Liaise with trades staff and contractors completing works and authorise contractor payments

• Directly line manage 4 Supervisors and 50 Trades staff

• Liaise with tenants and senior management to give updates on ongoing works

• Inspect completed works to ensure they meet pre-agreed specifications and provide recommendations for remedial works

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience delivering an exceptional repairs service

• Experience working with budgets

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• 08:00 – 16:30 (flexible start/finish)
