We are currently working in partnership with a surveying consultancy firm based in East London, who are recruiting for a Building Surveyor & Quantity Surveyor on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice.

The salary is £30,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience for the role.

The ideal candidate will have experience within residential or construction projects and hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working on residential projects ranging from £2 million - £22 million

• Having the ability to work throughout the whole project life cycle from inception to completion and investment sale

• Inspecting sites and drawing up initial cost plans and feasibility studies

• Coordinating of resources, appointment of consultants, contractors, suppliers and design team

• Undertaking both pre and post contract administration duties

• Ensuring all project work meets all relevant technical and professional standards on a consistent basis
